And people wonder why such people are ridiculed all around . .

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

Man, Ken M's style is familiar, especially how he handles the Civil War discussion.

Just thought I would add a point of irony (although it would be obvious from the article that is not included in these images) but Dolphin is also a fish. Over in Haiwaii they call it "Mahi-mahi" and they are very good eating.

That's not me, that's like the third image that came up on a google search. If it was me, the guy would weigh 270 pounds and wouldn't be out on the ocean (I like the shore. The open ocean scares the living snot out of me)
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.
I like the one about the Sun. I don't know which one of them is the stupidest. Of course the sun has an "atmosphere," it's called the corona. You can even see it in the photo. The real reason why it's so hard to "see" the corona is because they surface of the sun is too damn bright. (That's why you wait for a total eclipse of the sun so you can block it out.) Got to admit I love the "sun setting in sapce" because in space there is no horizon for the sun to set behind.
